Pirates News · Fall Sports Update


Thursday afternoon the Governor issued new executive orders that allowed fall sports to continue in all regions of the state, including football. After meetings with the MHSAA and the WMC here is what the start of each season will look like:

  • All sports are allowed 2 spectators per athlete
  • Cross Country will continue with the season as scheduled
  • Volleyball will be able to move indoors on Wednesday
  • Soccer can begin matches immediately, their first match will be Wednesday vs Oakridge
  • HS Football begins practice Tuesday and the first game will be September 18th
  • Sideline cheer will continue practicing and cheer at home football games
  • MS cross country will continue as scheduled
  • MS Basketball will start practice on Wednesday
  • MS Football will start practice on Wednesday

We are excited that all fall sports are finally allowed to compete. Planning continues in earnest and we will update information on schedules in the next few days
